New Transition Training Session
A good transition doesn't save a great deal of time but being poorly prepared can be really frustrating and its easy to throw away the minute that you worked so hard for in the swim!
I've organised a one-off session to complement final preparations for BRW. The aim is for you to be clear in your head on exactly what you are going to do on race day. I'll show you how to set up your bike in transition and some clever little tricks for saving time. You'll also have the opportunity to try a couple of different ways of getting on and off your bike so you can discover what works for you.
We'll start off on the grass outside Emma's house and progress to tarmac once people are ready.
Meet at 4 for a 4:30 start
Bring as much of your race kit as you can: wetsuit (very optional!) swim hat, goggles, swimmers / race kit, bike, helmet, bike shoes (if you use them), running shoes, cap, sunnies. Don't worry if you can't get your bike there, you can borrow a bike and you can learn plenty by watching too!
Should be fun! See you there,
Dunstan
